The ID looks like ACES-2026-0001. Scanning the QR code on the card fills it in for you.
An ACES credential shows that the person completed Adrastia™ evidence-handling training and passed the certification exam. It is valid for 3 years from the issue date. It renews when the holder shows they are still an active PI and have personally verified 5 or more reports.
It is not a state license. It does not authorize anyone to work as a private investigator, attorney, or peace officer.
A revoked or expired credential prints as "not verified" on any Adrastia report certified after that date.
