Effective October 24, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Adrastia LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("Adrastia," "we," "us"). They cover your use of the Adrastia™ evidence application at adrastiahq.com/app and the related website (the "Service"). By creating an account or starting a plan, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.
Adrastia lets you capture, seal, organize, and report evidence. Each item is fingerprinted with SHA-256 when it is added, and actions on a case are recorded in a hash-chained custody log. Adrastia records the technical facts of how evidence was handled. It does not decide whether any evidence is admissible, relevant, or true. Those decisions belong to you, your attorneys, and the courts.
If your plan ends or a payment fails, your cases stay readable and you can still create reports, but you can't open new cases or add evidence until the plan is active again.
You own the evidence and information you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You give Adrastia permission to store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service to you and the people you add to your cases. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Sealed evidence and custody log entries cannot be edited or deleted through the Service. This protects the chain of custody. Sealed records are kept for as long as your account is open and for seven years after it ends, unless you ask us in writing to delete them sooner or the law requires otherwise. We may keep records longer when they are subject to a legal hold, subpoena, or court order. You can create reports of your cases at any time while you have access.
You are responsible for making sure that the way you collect, record, and share evidence is lawful where you work. This includes laws on surveillance, trespass, audio recording and consent, privacy, data protection, and private investigator licensing. You may not use the Service to:
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. When the law requires it, we will cooperate with law enforcement.
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a feature that is central to your plan, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund of fees paid for the unused period.
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, Adrastia disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Adrastia does not guarantee that any evidence, report, or match will be accepted by a court, insurer, agency, or any other party. Matches between field and desk records are leads for you to verify, not conclusions. Adrastia does not provide legal advice.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Adrastia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Adrastia's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid Adrastia in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You agree to defend and indemnify Adrastia against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms or of the law.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your plan at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, with notice where practical. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 continue after this agreement ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona, and you and Adrastia consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
The Adrastia™ Certified Evidence Specialist (ACES) course, exam, credential, credential card, and verify registry are also governed by the ACES Candidate Agreement, which covers exam rules, credential use, term and renewal, revocation and appeal, the public verify listing, and refunds. The ACES credential is not a state license.
Organizations that need a data processing agreement for the evidence they store in Adrastia can request our standard Data Processing Agreement through the contact form. When signed, it forms part of these terms.
